I work with people aged 15 and up around mental health, emotional health and psychological issues which might include:
eating disorders and eating issues including excessive dieting or food restriction, binge eating or a focus on body image ideas
worries and anxiety
mood changes, depression or feeling flat or numb
strong emotions like anger and frustration
relational issues such as with family, friends and belonging
study stress and perfectionism
issues around self-confidence, self-esteem or self-identity.
I am also available to provide clinical and personal supervision for accredited mental health professionals.

My work aims to help people both understand their situation with clarity and develop skills to meet their psychological goals. These might be:
to have strategies to cope with stress, worry, anxiety or over-thinking
to feel happier, more content or secure
to understand the origins and nature of their psychological experience
to improve self-esteem and self-confidence, for example in social situations
to deepen and strengthen interpersonal relationships
to regulate and manage strong or difficult emotions
to enhance concentration and motivation
I am trained in the provision of individual psychological therapy which includes elements from therapeutic modalities such as:
Supportive counselling
Schema Therapy
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)
Enhanced CBT for eating disorders (E-CBT)
Interpersonal relational psychotherapy
Adolescent Focused Therapy (AFT)
Psychodynamic psychotherapy.
My clinical experience includes as a Psychologist, Senior Psychologist and Team Leader. I have worked throughout Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and Psychiatry Departments at Melbourne hospitals including Austin Hospital, Southern Health and the Royal Children's Hospital.
