FOR REFERRERS AND PRACTITIONERS
Laura has current availability for referrals of young people and adults aged 15 and up.
Referrals can be made three ways:
Where the patient is eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan, they can access financial rebates via the Better Access to Mental Health Scheme (click here for Medicare info).
Where the patient has multiple specialists involved with their care, limited rebates are also available under the Enhanced Primary Care Scheme (click here for info).
Where the patient meets criteria for the Eating Disorder Services plan which also requires a referral for a psychiatric consultation (click here for info).
The patient can be provided with their letter of referral or it can be emailed directly to me at this address. The letter needs to be addressed to myself and dated prior to their first appointment.
